It’s a late Monday night and were starting the week off with a well-done SAAB. Coming out of New York tonight we will have Jessica Kang (photographer) who shot the car tell you a little bit about Brian and his ride
Words By: Jess Kang
“As a personal story, I first read about Brian’s SAABARU in a different blog a very long time ago, and fell in love with the car. I got the great opportunity to shoot his car, one of my personal favorites and definitely one of the most unique rides in the car community nationwide.”
“What makes this car so unique (besides the fact that it’s a SAAB) is the STI transmission swap, hence the nickname. You can’t forget the Futuras, fitted perfectly in the fenders of his wagon. Amazingly enough, I was driving down my road one day and a car caught my eye and it happened to be him. His car is truly something you don’t see every day or anywhere. And when you catch a glimpse, you’re taken back by the vision of this SAAB.”
Enjoy these photos as we will definitely keep you updated as progress is made on Brian’s SAABARU. Make sure to peep his mod list at the bottom of the page. Be sure to be on the lookout as we will be announcing our first Stay Stetti meet in New York! and our Stay Stetti Even here in Nor-Cal in the upcoming weeks!

It’s been a late week here at Stay Stetti and our first feature of the week is going up on a Wednesday afternoon instead of a Monday morning. But let us tell you it was worth the wait! If you’re a Honda guy then you have probably heard of Gonzalez’s 89 Civic Si R. Recently featured in August issue of Honda Tuning this Si R is JDM’d out. Under the hood you have H23 “blue top,” built motor wire tucked perfectly.
From all original Si R panels, seats, and carpets you will start to notice that this civic has an old school restoration type build with a modern twist. Rocking a set of Volk RE30’s on a set of Full function coils and still rocking all its original molding this Civic is definitely one of the cleanest Civics we have seen. Be sure to check it’s huge mod list at the bottom of the page, and let us know what you think about this Beast!

Meet Wilbert Zhang and his neckbreaking STi. Henry (photographer) met Wilbert at ImportExpo this summer. To be exact, through Facebook after ImportExpo. He then contacted Henry asking for a shoot, and without any hesitation, he replied “sure”. However, both Wilbert and Henry are university students, and they were actually busy cramming for assignments and exams as it was the end of the school term. Hence, they unfortunately had to put the shoot on hold. After a month’s delay, they finally got together on a perfect day to shoot this stunning ride.
Wilbert has been driving this bad-boy for approximately 4 years now, and plans are still going on. As you can see, his STi definitely got swag. Running on a set of 18 x 10.5 +22mm TE37 SuperLaps and lowered on Stance GR+ Pro SS-D, it’s obvious that he’s living life to the fullest. The subtle exterior with the aggressive stance is doing it for me. Not to mention the fact that his ride has both stance and function, talk about an ultimate combo. The last time Wilbert checked, his STi was running 400+bhp, and more performance upgrades has been done to the car since then. Well enough said, We willl let the pictures do the rest of the talking. Make sure to peep it’s crazy modlist at the bottom of the page!
